Below is a clear, step-by-step guide to what happens from your first phone call through to commencing care. No surprises.
Complimentary consultation
Your first visit includes a one-on-one clinical history with Dr Brett. This is your time to share your health concerns, describe your symptoms, and explain what you have already tried. Dr Brett listens carefully and asks questions to build a clear picture of your situation.
This is your opportunity to share your health concerns and goals, understand the possible causes of your condition, find out whether chiropractic may be right for you and ask questions with no obligation to start treatment
If chiropractic care is not the right fit, Dr Brett will tell you honestly and point you in the right direction.
Allow 15 to 20 minutes - No charge
Full examination
If, following your consultation, Dr Brett believes chiropractic care may be able to help you, he will proceed with a comprehensive examination. He assesses you as a whole, not just the area where you feel pain.
Your examination may include:
Posture Screen digital postural assessment
Neurological testing
Orthopaedic examination
Chiropractic spinal assessment
X-rays where clinically indicated (taken on-site)
Where X-rays are recommended, Dr Brett will explain why before proceeding. Treatment may or may not commence at this visit, depending on your presentation.
Allow 30 to 45 minutes - Standard examination fee $130
Report of findings
Dr Brett sits down with you and explains everything clearly. If X-rays were taken, he walks you through the images and findings so you leave with a complete picture of what is happening and why.
You will leave this appointment understanding what was found in your assessment, why it may be contributing to your symptoms, what your care options are and what they involve and all associated fees, explained upfront
There are no hidden surprises. You decide whether to proceed.
Your care plan and first adjustment
If chiropractic care is appropriate for your presentation, Dr Brett will perform your first adjustment at this visit. Techniques are always tailored to you: your body type, preferences, comfort level, and specific clinical findings.
If chiropractic care is not the right fit, Dr Brett will refer you to the healthcare professional best suited to your needs. Care only commences when there is a clear clinical benefit and you have given your informed consent.

This offer is for new patients only
The complimentary consultation includes a clinical history and initial evaluation. No spinal adjustments are performed at this stage
If you choose to proceed beyond the consultation, a standard examination fee of $130 applies. This includes Posture Screen postural assessment, neurological and orthopaedic examination, chiropractic spinal assessment, and digital X-ray imaging on-site where clinically indicated
There is no obligation to begin care
Chiropractic care will only commence when there is a clear clinical benefit and you have given your informed consent
Fees and payments
Private health funds
We do not have HICAPS terminals. Private health fund rebates are claimable via your health fund app. We provide a receipt at each visit.
DVA patients
We accept Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) patients and manage all DVA paperwork. There is no out-of-pocket cost at your appointment.
Medicare (GPCCMP)
We accept Medicare referrals under a GP Care Management Plan. Patients pay at the time of the visit and claim the rebate directly using their receipt.
